Today brought a huge improvement in air quality, at least towards the southern end of Sonoma County. I took this opportunity to drive up the west side of Sonoma Mountain, near the edge of the burned zone from the Pressley Fire, and watch the sunset. The air was still smokey enough to produce some brilliant colors, but the distant fog bank pouring in from the coast was a welcome sight.
